ATTENTION COLLECTORS
This book is one of two "Scarlet Slipper" books that I bought as an adult collector, from a store, at least 20 years ago. I'll call this one copy 2 of 2, because the other one is advertised separately on this site. The book is still in the same condition that it was in when I bought it, as I never read it, just put it away with the rest of my collection. From a smoke-free house, no smells or odours. The previous owner wrote her name and phone number in pen at the front of the book, and the number "32" on the spine, but there is no other writing or scribbling. There are some very tiny stains just on the outside edges of the white pages, see the photos, but I see no stains inside the book. There is some wear on the cover, and the end papers have split (see the photos), but the binding is still tight, no loose pages. The book says copyright 1954, lists to #33 The Witch Tree Symbol, which was copyrighted in 1955, and has blue "digger" end papers. Based on the title list and the end papers, my guess is that this book is from the mid to late 1950s.
