I acquired this book some time between 1962 and 1964 when I was collecting Grosset and Dunlap books like the Nancy Drew series. I am now liquidating my collection. Most of my childhood books are in nice shape, but this one has some condition issues, and the price reflects this. The cover has wear, and about one inch of the blue tweed cover has peeled away from the top of the spine; see photos. The end papers have split at the back, but not the front. There is also some separation between the titles page and the blank page to its right. However, there are no torn or loose pages, and the binding is still tight. My name is handwritten in ink and also stamped in ink at the front, but there is no other writing, scribbling or doodling in the book. The book says copyright 1955, lists to the Fire Dragon, and has the blue multi-pic end papers. From a smoke-free house, no smells or odours or stains.
