Workplace Standard First Aid Blended
The Blended Online – In-Class Learning Workplace Standard First Aid/ Level C (adult, child & infant) CPR/AED The Blended Online – In-Class Learning Workplace Standard First Aid/ Level C (adult, child & infant) CPR/AED course cost is $105.22 + tax ($121.00) which includes the on-line portion, class portion, certification card, face shield and gloves. The Blended Online – In-Class Learning Workplace Standard First Aid/ Level C (adult, child & infant) CPR/AED consists of two parts: - the 8-hour online component and, - 1 day in class component - Participants will each receive an email from the Canadian Red Cross to setup their profile and start their online portion. - The 8 hours online does not need to be completed all at once and can be completed at the participants leisure. - The 8-hour online MUST be completed by the participants before the 1 day in-class portion. Incompletes will be sent home and will be charged an administration fee for rescheduling. - Participants must take part in all practical skills and successfully pass a written test.
Please note: The Workplace Standard First Aid/ Level C CPR/AED (WSFA) course certificates expire three years from the date of issue. To fulfill First Aid requirements for this course each participant who is the main first aid provider on shift must have a minimum of six hours practice each year in First Aid Skills. This review is for individuals currently holding a WSFA certification. It does not replace or renew a WSFA certification. Every three years a WSFA course must be completed again. Next course dates are: -May 25 - June 10, 12 or 29 - July 14, 22 or 24 - August 12, 14 or 23 - September 9, 18 or 21 - October 7, 16 or 26 - November 6, 9, 23 or 27 - December 5 or 15
Prerequisite: None Age Requirements (recommended): 11 years minimum age. Standards for successful course completion: Learners must demonstrate their ability to meet all skill and knowledge objectives. Certification: Valid for 3 years
