Two groups: Group 1 – Thursdays, May 1 and 8, 6 pm – 8 pm Group 2 – Sundays, May 18 and May 25, 2 pm – 4 pm Now it is the perfect time to add a new skirt to your wardrobe! A-line silhouette is flattering and fits any shape. Choose your style: short or long, pick your favorite color and pattern. Week 1: drafting a pattern, cutting the fabric. Prepare for sewing. Week 2: hemming, adding waistband, finishing the seams. What to bring: 1. Fabric 2-3 meters, depending on the style and size. Send me your measurements (waist circumference and skirt length) at the registration and I will tell you the exact amount. If you are a beginner and don’t want to ruin nice fabric, get yourself an old bedsheet from the thrift store. 2. Thread of matching color. 3. Sewing machine. If you don’t have a machine or inconvenient to bring it, let me know. You can use the machines at the studio. 4. Sewing kit (scissors, pins, measuring tape, fabric marker or chalk, etc).
