This program is an introduction to computer-aided drafting (CAD) using current CAD software in the market. It explores basic dimensioning, editing and drawing manipulation functions. Additional topics including tool and die making program and explores power work holding devices and modular tooling systems.
No previous computer experience required.
Learn how to use the various CAD software in the market.
Develop an understanding of the significance and importance of CAD.
Become familiar with CAD/Engineering terminology, architecture and literature in a variety of media.
Develop basic skills necessary for communicating graphically the needs, ideas, and requirements of progressive industrial manufacturing environments in the Lettering/Text, Geometric Construction, Isometric and Orthographic Construction and others.
