Wedding officiant training online October 26
Hi everyone! Have you been looking for a way to become a wedding officiant? We can help! Become a Pastoral Chaplain with our inclusive progressive church.
Registration is open for an online Pastoral Chaplain training session coming up on Sunday October 26 from 10 until 3 pm.
We meet on Zoom, a user-friendly platform you can use on any device. In the session, you'll learn about the role of the Pastoral Chaplain and especially, the elements involved with working with couples and offering meaningful, personalized weddings in accordance with the Province of Ontario.
It is intense but we have a lot of fun! All materials and resources will be sent to you electronically. We conclude with the chaplain commissioning ceremony.
We are building a community of people who are excited to marry all couples legally able to wed in Ontario. Our focus is celebrating love and happiness; the joy of being there when a couple exchanges the words of their hearts. Our chaplains have a win-win-win: plenty of weddings, a supportive online community on FB and extra monies for their families and projects. See our chaplains: https://www.communitycatholicchurch.com/pastoral-chaplains
To register: Candidates must be baptized, obtain a police clearance report and complete a Chaplain application form.
Pastoral chaplains must agree with the policies and mission of our inclusive and progressive church and uphold the rights of all people. They must agree to officiate at all weddings, including same-gender. More information: http://www.stfrancisseminary.com/pastoral-chaplains Contact: Bishop Deborah Vaughan: email@example.com
