1959 TRIUMH TR3A

2 door roadster with drop top. This car has been in the family for over 40 years, but we have decided that it is time to pass it on to someone who can make it shine like it should. This car has had some prior restoration work, the paint is older, shows further aging & is ready for more restoration. It has always been parked/ stored in climatized garages & has been in storage for several years. Four years ago some work was done: it started & ran very well. It has not been operated since. Original configuration for suspension & four wheel drum braking systems. The steering & suspension are firm with no looseness/sagging. Induction system consists of dual side draft SU carburetors. Belts & hoses show minimal aging or wear. Exhaust system is unmodified with a factory cast iron manifold, single downpipe and muffler. Older restoration showing some wear or amateur workmanship with a combination of well-done restoration & good operable components (NOS parts). Older Michelin radial tires that are 165 R15 in size & comes with a spare rim. Factory aluminum alloy wheels have no corrosion or curb damage & are in excellent condition. Some rust on the body & a little rust damage on the passenger side inner wheel well. The undercarriage is clean & free of road hazard damage or significant corrosion. Trunk seal rubber shows minimal aging and is in very good condition. The convertible top & headliner also show minimal aging or wear and no damage. The interior overall is in above average condition, steering wheel, carpet, dash pad, interior panels & hardware showing minimal aging or wear. The original window curtains are stored with the car. The wood veneer is good but does show some fading due to age. With the Triumph comes the original manual & restoration walk-through books, 2 boxes of NOS parts (variety), extra rim and glove box. Original bill & receipts. Classic tire repair tools, car jack and ramps included. Can give you the old shop posters too! Emergency brake is stuck on/ car will have to be towed from garage.
