Well I am looking to go another direction, so trades are considered.
First is the 1980 CJ7, 4x4, 383 chev small block, automatic B&M shifter, 1 inch body lift, not sure on the suspension, thinking 2 inch. I did not build this, purchased a few years back and now looking for something non 4x4. I have driven this too and from Newfoundland and New Brunswick with no issues in 2020, running royal purple oil in the engine as that was in it originally. Doors are a different color as when I purchased the jeep it only had a soft top and doors, so I found solid doors and top, to install. The doors are original YJ red polished out, with working locks and new seals. Trailer also made the trip with the diamond plate top. 10x31 tires. $10,500.00 for the 1980.
1979 project CJ7 rust free tub, been looking for over a year for this and found an all original metal one, no holes, but some dents need fixing, tire rack, tailgate, dash still on the tub, have a rolling frame getting prepped for the body, 1979 with registration, plates included, three speed trans and transfer case in the frame. Was a 304 but have a 258 running to go in it. 75% of the parts needed are here, no interior or passenger front fender. Top, doors, hood, grill, rad all here. $3500.00
M101 Overland trailer, with weather diamond plate lid, new wiring and lights, 10x31 tires, CJ7 bolt pattern hubs so only one spare needed to carry. This is a 1/4 ton trailer that is solid steel construction. Pintol hitch so rough offroad travel is not a problem. $3500.00
Some of the trades I would consider are;
1966 impala, 1959 or 60 chev two door, 1950 to 72 stepside chev, may consider ford or merc, Panel truck or delivery 1940 to 1972, panel van from the 1960's. Would prefer a running vehicle with solid frame and registration, needing body work, interior work, wiring, etc not an issue. Really prefer to be able to drive it home, but depending on the vehicle and deal. 1980 CJ7 is in winter storage right now and as long as the ad is up it is still available, Willing to travel out of province for the right deal, but might not travel until comes out of storage this spring and covid cases drop a little. I do reply to messages.
