Turbo Diesel Ford Ranger

Ford Ranger Factory Turbo Diesel Mitsubishi 4D55-T 2.3L I4 Diesel engine runs very well and has lots of power. Mitsubishi made a very reliable engine, and I can rely on this truck to start after sitting all winter with no battery charger. I don’t drive this truck in the winter to keep the body as clean as possible. Manual transmission, 5 speed. Dual fuel tanks (working). I have the original explorer badging as well (was taken off the truck). All 4 cab mounts are solid along with the frame and driveline. Both timing belts changed recently. I can even include the shop manual for the right price. This truck was actually found in a barn sitting for probably 20 years, I took the entire truck interior apart and deep cleaned it. The floor liner had to be thrown out as it was too gross to put back in. The tank selector solenoid works, the brakes have been worked on, the windshield was replaced, the exhaust was fixed at Alta Exhaust in Edmonton. The truck was parked so long ago because the timing belt broke. The engine was brought to running condition at 4 Wheel Auto in Edmonton. The main issues: Diesel injection pump is leaking from a seal on top. Automatic glow plug system is not working so I just start the truck by jumpering the solenoid for the glow plugs. This truck has had a lot of love poured into it to make it a fun and reliable rig. It is so much fun to drive, and like most older fords the heater pumps out heat like crazy.
