Description

This serious street machine features classic looks and awesome performance with show-quality cosmetics and build quality. A local car with an exceedingly demanding former owner, this Camaro was built and maintained without regard to cost. An original V-8 Camaro 2-door Coupe built at Norwood, Ohio, according to its VIN, the Camaro is understood to have early drag racing history.

Featuring a beautiful and virtually flawless Black exterior finish with painted White Rally stripes, the Camaro’s paint was professionally wet-sanded and polished by muscle car and classic body and paint expert Jim Johnston of West Lorne, Ontario. Presented in restored, as-new condition, the Camaro’s interior is simply outstanding, featuring Black and White factory-style Houndstooth upholstery and Black carpeting.

Power is delivered by a 454ci Hardcore Limited Edition engine, by Bill Michell Racing and based on a World Products cylinder block and known to racers and in magazines as “The Mouse That Roared,” due to its massive displacement and power output. Features include MoTown aluminum cylinder heads with high volume/flow 220cfm intake ports, a MoTown intake manifold, roller cam, and a 1050cfm Hardcore blueprinted Holley Dominator 4-barrel carburetor. Rated by the builder at 600 horsepower, this very special and expensive engine was built for reliability and durability. According to the prior owner, the engine was installed for him in 2009 and the great-sounding 3-inch dual exhaust system was custom-fabricated to his specifications. Power is delivered by a heavy-duty Richmond 5-speed manual transmission and 12-bolt GM rear end with LPW Ultimate-12 support cover.

Supporting features include a billet aluminum serpentine-belt accessory drive, aluminum radiator and recovery tank, ceramic-coated headers, Russell fuel lines, K&N air cleaner, and big-ticket Optima “Yellow Top” battery. Underpinnings include Cal West tubular front control arms, Competition Engineering Slide-A-Link rear traction bars, and 4-wheel disc brakes with cross-drilled rotors. Weld Racing wheels mount BFG Radial T/A tires measuring P215/65R15 up front and P275/60R15 Mickey Thompson ET Street drag radials to the rear. Appraised value of $120,000. Plus HST & registration fees. WE WILL TAKE ANYTHING IN ON TRADE! jason@groganclassics.com
