I have decided it may be time to part with my 1964 Ford Thunderbird. This is not an easy decision, as I've invested a tremendous amount of time, effort, and money into bringing this car back to life. I have put over 40k into this car but would consider a cash value of 30k or a unique trade. I'm not expecting to recover everything I've put into it, but I am open to fair and interesting trade offers. I would consider the following: newer truck, sports car, newer cruiser 24 - 28 feet with trailer, older convertible, Grand National, newer tractor min 30hp, skid-steer, cash plus trade, newer T-Bird, older restored truck or Bronco, K5, package deals and so on. This Thunderbird started as a project car—a solid shell that I rebuilt into a dependable, enjoyable cruiser. It has undergone extensive mechanical, cosmetic, and interior restoration over the past few years and is ready to be enjoyed. Recent Upgrades Include: Complete paint and body (2024) New dual exhaust system Carburetor professionally rebuilt Fuel tank cleaned and flushed New fuel pump New brakes (front and rear) New master cylinder New power steering pump Suspension serviced and adjusted New rear leaf spring installed New American Racing wheels Interior seats redone Transmission rebuilt Things that still need fixing: Heater hookup and some gauges on the dash have stopped working and need addressing, such as the fuel gauge, dash clock, and coolant gauge. Overall, considering the year and condition of this old bird, she is in good shape as a daily driver; try an offer, willing to consider a package deal, or a unique swap with cash or just trade.
