1960 Ford Frontenac

Hi folks. Here's an ultra rare Canadian only built car. It's one yr only & called the Frontenac with maple leaf badging everywhere. Neither Ford nor Mercury wanted to put a Brand badge on this car as it was meant to be a one off marquee Frontenac name only car, even though it was only sold through the in.Mercuryin. Dealerships from Ford factory. I get asked all the time, is it Mercury or Ford, ..then I spend 10 minutes explaining the Marquee concept. Anyway, this is a 302 V8 3spd auto as it's a slight resto-mod now.This car has ZERO rust and is an absolute jewel that deserved this fully extreamly well done restoration. Original Hub caps and badging never Rechromed. Interior is correct and beautifully done. I have 18 videos of it when it was completed. Mercury brought out the Comet it in 1961, and Ford took over to name and re-badge it as the Falcon for 1961, and the US Ford plant had the Falcon in 1960.. 1960 Frontenac only for Canada. So, just over 9500 sold for Canada only, and no US models were ever built. The research shows 1500 were 2 doors. The registry shows a very small handful that were registered 2 doors in Canada. I truly believe I own one of the nicest Frontenacs in the world, show ready. Serious money for a seriously cool car, just needs a serious buyer who wants to try and pry this rare Frontenac away from me. So stop in as im retired and get soft with age.
