Janitorial Manager/Supervisor

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Janitorial Manager/Supervisor to join our team. Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Janitorial Manager/Supervisor to oversee day-to-day cleaning operations across multiple sites. This role is responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness, ensuring client satisfaction, and providing strong leadership to the cleaning staff. The ideal candidate must be available for on-call duties, possess reliable transportation, and be legally authorized to work in Canada. A successful candidate will also be required to pass a Toronto Police Vulnerable Sector Check. Key Responsibilities: · Supervise and coordinate janitorial staff across multiple locations · Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with cleaning standards · Train, coach, and evaluate team members to ensure performance and efficiency · Handle scheduling, shift coverage, and respond to urgent cleaning requests · Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment · Liaise with clients to address feedback, concerns, and special requests · Ensure adherence to health and safety protocols · Train new staff as needed. · Communicate professionally via phone and email. · Keep the cellphone on hand for team check-ins and check-outs. · Assist with cleaning tasks as required. Qualifications: · Minimum 3 years of experience in a janitorial supervisory or managerial role · Strong leadership and communication skills · A reliable team player with strong multi-tasking abilities. · Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, holidays and weekends if needed · Be flexible regarding work schedule. · Proficiency in English; other languages considered an asset · Owning a car is mandatory for this position Client Relationship Management: · Build and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients by understanding their specific cleaning needs and delivering tailored service solutions. · Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and feedback, ensuring all matters are addressed promptly, professionally, and to the client’s satisfaction. · Demonstrate a consistent commitment to exceptional customer service and client satisfaction. Knowledgeable in a Wide Range of Cleaning Services, Including: Floor Stripping & Waxing, Power Washing, Carpet Cleaning, Deep Cleaning, Tile & Grout Cleaning, Window Cleaning etc. Job Type: Full-time Pay: $60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year Schedule: Holidays Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Language: English (required) Work Location: In person Expected start date: 2025-08-15
