Toronto Maple Leafs Hockey Club Leather Jacket

Toronto Maple Leafs Hockey Club leather Jacket size large but fits a 42 chest best. Purchased in the late 90's from the Roots flagship store in Toronto. I was told by the sales person at Roots that it was originally made for mayor Mel Lastman as part of a production for the entire team but the jacket did not properly fit him so they made him a second jacket and this jacket was put on sale after he returned it. You will note that the crest says hockey club, not hockey team, which indicates that the jacket was made specifically for the hockey club and not the general public. It has been worn only on rare occasions to attend Maple Leaf games and garnered a lot of recognition by the staff at the ACC/Scotiabank when it was worn. The white bands on the sleeves and pockets are leather while the collar and cuffs are a knitted material.
