● $50.00 or best offer ● Caffexpress, midcentury stovetop moka pot by OMG Italy, collectors item ● Vintage from the 1950s ● Stove-top coffee machine. It features an unusual design: the body is cast in alloy in a single piece- and the coffee basket is made of of two main parts that screw together. The basket is then clamped in place via a bakelite knob on the lid of the coffee machine. This coffee maker has a beautiful Patina of age- showing signs of use. However it is complete. ● ● As is it is a very nice display piece, with a high quality finish and very nice reddish bakelite handle and clamp knob. ● Description ● Caffexpress, midcentury stovetop moka pot, made by OMG in Italy. Beautiful bakelite knob and handle. Quirky espresso maker that opens from the top where you take out the filter it is in two parts. It is complete. Definite signs of age inside and outside. Have a good look at the pictures. ● ● Height 21cm / 8.2 inches ● Aluminium ● About 2 cups ● ● Has been sitting on a shelf as a display piece. Was recently tested by boiling some water in it. The gasket is old and showing signs of wear, but still seems to be working. The pot spits some liquid out of the open spout, so you would want to be careful about the direction it points when using it. ● ● Great piece in a collection! ● As pictured ● Located in Cole Harbour
