About Saint-Henry
Saint-Henry has a character that caters to a fairly diverse group of people. Saint-Henry is reasonably quiet overall, as there isn't a lot of street noise or city clamour, although there are still several noisier sections, especially near the railway line, Autoroute du Souvenir or Autoroute Décarie. Greenery is present in this part of Montréal as many streets have fairly good tree coverage. Parks, such as Lieu Historique National du Canada du-Canal-de-Lachine and Parc de la Falaise Saint-Jacques, are very well-spread out and there are around 20 of them nearby for residents to discover, which makes them very easy to get to. Lastly, there are numerous things to do in this part of the city for those looking for a dynamic vibe. Despite the fact that there is a limited selection of entertainment venues, the streets are usually busy with people, and with the bars in nearby neighbourhoods, it is very easy to find a place to grab a drink since they are generally located very close by. Main streets, like Rue Notre-Dame, are great for those who enjoy going out.
