I received a traffic ticket in Quebec May 2023 for having an expired STICKER on my car. I just went to court and he they said my plates were not valid! I argued they were and even received a refund cheque, I explained the new rule in Ontario regarding plates he said plates were not valid I confirmed they were he then said well then it’s a sticker violation!! Stickers were abolished in March 2022.
I lost it! Looking for legal advice as I’d rather pay 500$ to a lawyer than give a dime to Quebec and their money grab!!
