Job Description:Repair Service is seeking an experienced bookkeeper. The ideal candidate will have experience with all aspects of the accounting cycle, office procedures and hands on experience with QuickBooks, strong communication and organizational skills are a must. Job Description: • General accounting functions including general ledger, journal entries, payroll, bank reconciliations etc etc. • Preparation of monthly financial statements. • Prepare a full set of books for audit (must be capable of handling the full accounting cycle). • Preparation of personal and small business tax returns. • Preparation of forms such as source deductions, HST and WSIB. Skill Requirements: • Post secondary education in accounting / bookkeeping or equivalent experience. • relevant accounting and taxation experience. • Financial accounting skills with an understanding of bookkeeping concepts and a sound knowledge of accounting principles. • Sound understanding of the Canadian tax laws. • Knowledge of QuickBooks, Microsoft Office programs. • Strong analytical and organizational skills. • Ability to work in a highly structured environment and maintain consistent performance levels. • Excellent English and French written and verbal communication skills. • Capable of adapting to a complex and changing work environment. • Discriminating attention to detail and accuracy. Job Type: Full-time Job Location: • Gatineau (Aylmer District) however moving to Luskvile September 2021. Salary: To be discusssed.
