Technicolour DCM 476 Cable Modem

A Technicolour DCM76 cable modem. This is a good basic cable modem - working on many networks in Ontario including TekSavvy, Acanac, Distributel and many more! (this type was sold by Teksavvy a few years ago). The modem is $25 as it has never been used/ opened in the original box, You need to add a wireless router to get WiFi from this modem - it just looks after the connection to the internet service provider. There are more expensive modems with a built-in wireless router, but in my experience all these models have a fairly week wireless signal, so if you have a big space, or live close to other wireless routers that your neighbours are using, you will get quite bad WiFi, and need to add a better, dedicated wireless router anyway!
