Position: Dispatcher
Howard Little Excavating Ltd. is a locally owned Annapolis Valley company that has continued to grow over the past 45 years. We specialize in sewer, water and road construction as well as excavation for residential, commercial and industrial buildings covering Kings, Annapolis and Hants Counties. Responsibilities:
• Coordinate deliveries of aggregate and landscaping supplies
• Landscape and aggregate material sales
• Scheduling equipment, crews and materials
• Taking material orders by phone, offering material recommendations to customers to best suit the job requirements
• Able to effectively communicate with customers and crew
• Monitor and communicate by two-way radio
Qualifications:
Candidates must have:
• strong organizational skills
• extensive knowledge of Annapolis Valley locations
• strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• experience with computers and Microsoft Office Applications
• ability to work independently or as part of a team
