Humphries Contracting Solutions is a full service general contracting company specializing in all aspects of construction from New Residential Builds, Restoration, Renovation, Remodeling and small Commercial Projects. We have exciting opportunities for Self-Driven Highly Motivated Carpenters who would like to take the next step in their career. Due to a high demand for Quality Projects we are seeking professional individuals to join our growing crews for HRM and surrounding areas. This is a full time position (40 + hours per week) with option for a benefit plan after 6 months. Weekend work is optional. Qualifying candidates must have; * Ideally 3 years of Carpentry and/or framing experience * The ability to drive to and from construction sites ( valid drivers license for work vehicle) * The ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches * The ability to measure, cut, assemble and join materials made of wood, steel and other materials * The ability to work unsupervised, be punctual and dependable * The ability to communicate with Management * Experience using power tools * Safety boots * A positive attitude and the ability to work in a team environment Humphries Contracting Solutions is an equal opportunity company with room to grow.
