Auto Body Technician wanted

Chapman Auto Body is a Halifax, Nova Scotia-based automobile repair and collision centre specializing in European fine cars and import and domestic body work. We are currently looking to add Red Seal Auto Body Technicians to our growing team. With three locations serving the HRM, our team has expanded and we are looking for motivated, detailed, and energetic individuals to join our team. Are you looking for a new opportunity to share your skills and knowledge? Responsibilities to include but not be limited to: · Dismantle vehicles and diagnose visual and internal damages · Review damage report and estimates of repair costs and work within the scope of repairs · Uni body frame/door and frame straightening · Replace front end components, body components, doors and frame, and underbody components · Repair or replace interior components · Inspect repaired vehicles and test drive vehicles for proper handling · Welding, operating soldering equipment, and/or using plastic fillers to fill holes, dents and seams Requirements: · Motor Vehicle Body Repairer Red Seal Endorsement or eligibility for same · 3-5 years’ relevant experience · secondary school diploma · Valid driver’s license · Dependable, detail-oriented, energetic Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $32.00-$40.00 per hour Benefits: • Dental care • Extended health care • Vision care Expected hours: No less than 42.5 per week Schedule: Monday to Friday Work Location: 2500 Agricola Street, Halifax, Nova Scotia B3K 4C2
