Electrician (309A)

About the Role We are seeking a licensed and experienced 309A Electrician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a dedicated individual with commercial and industrial service experience, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to safety and high-quality work. Responsibilities include electrical installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and troubleshoot: Wiring systems (interior/exterior) Transformers and switching equipment Relays and lighting systems (up to 600V, including polyphase circuits) Interpret blueprints and technical drawings Organize daily work orders and required materials Maintain accurate service documentation Safely operate hand/power tools and aerial devices Provide support to apprentices when needed Follow all workplace safety and compliance regulations Must-Have Qualifications Valid 309A Certificate of Qualification (Electrician – Construction and Maintenance) Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial or industrial service Valid Ontario G Driver’s License with a clean driving record (required for company vehicle use) Familiarity with the Ontario Electrical Safety Code and Occupational Health and Safety Act Ability to read technical plans and maintain accurate work records Preferred Attributes Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and in teams Comfortable working in various environments (heights, confined spaces, outdoors) Experience with lifts or aerial work platforms (training provided if needed) Professional interaction with clients, vendors, and team members How to Apply Apply by sending with your resume and a brief cover letter outlining your experience to our email found on our website - Yali Electric Ltd Yali Electric is an equal opportunity employer.
