We are seeking a skilled and experienced person to join our team. As an arborist assistant, you will be responsible for performing a variety of duties related to rigging, grounds crew, and operating equipment such as chainsaws. If you have a passion for arboriculture and enjoy working outdoors, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Duties:
- Assist climbing arborist
- Operate chainsaws and chippers
- Assist with planting of trees
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient completion of projects
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in operating relevant equipment, chipper, chainsaws etc
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team environment
