Journeyman & 1st Year Electricians Needed
Electrical contracting company with 50 years experience currently has openings for Journeyman & 1st year Apprentice Electricians. Elhart's Electric is seeking motivated and energetic individuals who take pride in their work to join our team. We currently have full time openings for Journeyman Electricians & 1st Year Apprentice Electricians. We perform electrical installations in the commercial, industrial and residential sectors of construction projects. An understanding of construction drawings and schematics would be highly beneficial. You are goal and detail oriented, take pride in your work, and are a self starter. The ideal candidate would be proactive and efficient as well as self-motivated, with very good organizational skills. Good interpersonal skills are needed, as the position will involve interaction with our existing, new and potential customers. A willingness to learn as technologies evolve would be considered to be an asset.
Typical duties and responsibilities would include:
• Engage and participate in our company’s safety policies
• Operate industrial machines in a safe and proper manner such as aerial scissor lifts
• Interact with customers to determine their requests or explications
• Installation of new wiring using of NMD 90, AC90 and single conductors in conduit.
• Organizing and planning circuitry and splicing various types of wire and cable.
• Low voltage CAT 5/6 data networking, terminations and testing.
• Use of various type of construction tools.
• Troubleshooting and maintenance of existing electrical installations.
