Job Description: Summit Excavating is currently seeking motivated individuals to join our team as General Laborers for our construction and mini-excavating projects. As a vital member of our crew, you will assist in various tasks related to site preparation, excavation, and general construction work. While experience with a mini-excavator is considered an asset, we are willing to train candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn. Responsibilities: • Assist in setting up and preparing construction sites for excavation and other activities • Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively under the guidance of experienced crew members • Perform manual labor, including digging, lifting, and carrying materials • Assist with the operation and maintenance of mini-excavators and other equipment as needed • Follow all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and accurately • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas Qualifications: • Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or related field preferred • Experience operating a mini-excavator or similar equipment is an asset • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions • Strong work ethic and a positive attitude • Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced crew members • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from job sites Benefits: • Competitive wages • Opportunities for advancement and professional development • Health and safety training provided • Positive and collaborative work environment • Potential for overtime hours and bonuses If you are a hardworking individual with a passion for construction and a desire to grow your skills in the industry, we want to hear from you!
