Journeyperson Refrigeration Mechanic/ HVAC Technician

Hennessey Mechanical is looking to hire a Journeyperson Refrigeration Mechanic/ HVAC Technician. This is a full time position based at the K+S Potash Bethune minesite. Some of the job details are as follows: - 4 - 10 hr days ( 6:45am-4:45pm Mon-Thur) - work vehicle supplied to drive to and from site - competitive wages based on experience $50/hr starting wage - health benefits - overtime pay and bonus pay - available for on call shifts when needed - references upon request - start date is May 1st, 2024 Skills: - Electrical troubleshooting and diagnosing - exercisizes sounds judgment and maintains a professional demeanor - strong written and verbal communication skills - ability to take initiative and work independently - strong safety record with a special attention given to safety - 10 years of refrigeration experience Responsibilities: - perform maintenance and service of refrigeration equipment - perform repairs to refrigeration equipment due to failure of components - other HVAC related duties as assigned - must be able to perform physically demanding tasks Licenses/ certification: - valid class 5 drivers license - Journeyperson Refrigeration Mechanic certification
