This role is key to our bog operations. Without you, we would not be able to offer the products that our clients need to heal, beautify or feed the world. A Harvest Labourer is the starting point to our operations and production at Premier Tech Horticulture. The task: to harvest a renewable, natural resource and provide raw peat for the Olds, Alberta production facility. We presently are seeking two (2) Harvest Equipment Operators for the 2018 season (normally April to October).
Being a Harvest Labourer with PT means… - You will be operating farm tractors with implements (peat harvest vacuums and various harrows), loaders and other agricultural equipment to harvest peat; - Daily equipment checks to ensure equipment is in safe operating condition; - Ability to perform general maintenance of equipment for optimal operation; - Storing, monitoring and performing Quality Control testing on the harvested peat piles; - Being responsible to maintain the site’s level of organization and cleanliness; and - Working safely everyday along with keeping the safety of yourself and others at the forefront.
