We are a high-volume, fast-paced automotive shop seeking a General Manager / Service Advisor to lead our team and ensure smooth day-to-day operations. This dual-role position requires someone with strong leadership, technical knowledge, and customer service skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the shop and front office
Lead and support the service team, including technicians and advisors
Quote repair bills and communicate clearly with customers about services and repairs
Source and manage parts inventory efficiently
Schedule and manage customer appointments
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and team productivity
Requirements:
Proven leadership and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Excellent knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Word and industry-specific programs (e.g., shop management and parts lookup software)
Prior experience in a service advisor or shop management role is essential
