We are currently seeking a Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our company Raider Transport INC., in Regina, SK. This position is responsible for the repair and maintenance of Truck & Trailer based equipment and attachments.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Efficiently and effectively evaluate the working condition of, diagnose, assemble/disassemble, order parts for, and repair truck and trailer equipment
• Accurately and completely document on work orders all machine information, actions taken, and time taken
• Continually assess service task hazards and ensure work is performed safely, and to accepted standards
• Use parts catalogues to locate parts, and order parts from parts personnel
• test equipment and check attachment operation as required
Required Skills
• Second year to Certified Journeyperson in the Heavy-Duty Truck and/or Equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade considered an asset
• Experience in CAT, CUMMINs and PACCAR engines considered an asset
• Experience with electrical diagnosis /troubleshooting and aftertreatment systems considered an asset
• Previous mechanical experience in a shop environment is considered an asset.
