Carpentry Labourer Wanted

Summer Carpentry Labourer / Construction Assistant Makkinga Construction Inc. is looking to hire a motivated and dependable labourer for the summer construction season. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, staying busy, and being part of a small team environment. The successful candidate will assist our carpenters on a variety of residential construction projects throughout Thunder Bay and surrounding areas. Responsibilities Include: Driving company vehicles to and from job sites Organizing and maintaining tools and equipment in company vehicles Ensuring vehicles are stocked with the appropriate tools and materials for upcoming work Assisting carpenters with daily construction tasks Carrying and moving materials around job sites Job site setup, cleanup, and general labour duties Loading and unloading materials and tools Assisting with material pickups and deliveries Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment Supporting multiple job sites as required Qualifications: Valid driver’s licence with clean driving record Ability to lift and carry construction materials Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to work well independently and as part of a team Punctual, organized, and reliable Construction experience is considered an asset, but willingness to learn is equally important What We Offer: Competitive wages based on experience Varied and interesting residential construction projects Small team environment Opportunity to gain hands-on carpentry and construction experience Please send resumes or inquiries to employmentmci@gmail.com
