This is natural rattan, not synthetic. Synthetic breaks after some time but the natural rattan does not. It is made in Canada so it is very good quality furniture. Perfect for the kitchen or a solarium. This is not outdoor furniture.
The rattan is not split or cracked.
Glass table top is 42 inches diameter, 5mm thick. There are some light scratches on the glass just from every day use.
