I’ve been told this is maple but what I know for sure is that it is a very solid set. When sides are opened up it seats 10 but had even 12. Perfect for those large family gatherings! I hate to part with it but it’s just not the right fit after we moved. Table top has been stripped as I wanted to redo the finish but decided to let the new owner decide how to refinish it.
