2001 Kawasaki KX 250

Completely gone through and all worn parts replaced a few years ago including all chassis bearings, new clutch, new top and bottom end, all new transmission bearings, cylinder sent to CV teck to repair a minor scratch, newer front tire, rear tire works well for the riding we've done and likely has a couple seasons yet depending on your riding. Aesthetically the bike has a few dings and scratches but is in good shape for the age and nothing is broken. Mechanically this bike is in great shape and only has about 10hrs on the complete rebuild. Its well tuned, starts easy and pulls hard, but the last few years has only been ridden lightly as a loaner to visitors. But as we have learned it is a lot of bike for an occasional rider, it pulls decent at low RPM, but an ill-timed throttle input can wake it up in a hurry, resulting in a rather shaken visitor... It has never seen a track as long as I have owned it, just trail riding in the mountains. Always fresh air cleaner, washed and oiled after every ride. It was BC registered and insured in my name, the bike needs nothing but a new rider. Comes with spare clutch and spare air filter. $3500 OBO.
