Mini dachshund puppies were born June 22, and we couldn’t be more excited! Our sweet, gentle girl Schnitzel had her second litter with Noodle, our charismatic and stubborn chocolate and tan sire. Their last puppies were not only stunning but had such loving, confident temperaments — and we’re expecting more of the same! At Pioneer Dachshunds, we believe that early experiences shape a puppy for life. That’s why we raise our litters right here in our home, where they’re surrounded by household sounds, gentle handling, and lots of love from day one. We use early neurological stimulation (ENS) and follow the Puppy Rule of 7 to help build resilience, curiosity, and social confidence. By the time our pups head to their new homes at 8 weeks, they’ve already: • Experienced different textures, environments, and people • Navigated gentle challenges and problem-solving tasks • Learned to self-soothe and build confidence in new situations • Been dewormed 3 times and received their first vaccinations Each puppy also goes home with a comprehensive puppy package, including food, a blanket that smells like mama, toys, health records, and helpful resources to set you up for a smooth transition.
