Things you should know about buying or adopting a pet

UPDATE OCTOBER 1ST- We have 3 puppies still available 1 girl and 2 Boys. They are the first 5 pictures, 1- Group, 2- Girl, 3- Boy, 4- Boy, 5-Group, 6-10 picture from when they were younger.

Our babies are looking for their furever homes. If you don't know what an Imperial Shih Tzu is, they are all the wonderful things about a Shih Tzu in a small package. They make amazing family pets as they love everyone and are super cuddly and playful but can also entertain themselves if they need to. They are also smart and easy to train. They are both hypoallergenic and non shedding, making them ideal for people with allergies or people who don't want to have dog hair all over their house. When they are imperial size you get all the great qualities of a shih tzu but they are easier to travel with and better in smaller spaces. If you are looking for a toy/teacup size dog imperial shih tzus are a great option because while they are still small they are sturdier then other dogs their size and generally better with alone time, stairs as they grow, etc. If you ask me there is not a better dog around but I might be biased.

Both Momma and Daddy are ours, Momma weighs 8.5 lbs. and daddy weights 5.5 lbs. Currently all the puppies are charting to be under 8lbs fully grown however we can't promise that since they are babies and all babies grow at different rates. Both mom and dad are fully up to date on all their checks and have no health concerns.

We have 4 boys and 2 girls available (the boys are in the picture with four puppies and the girls are in the picture with 2 puppies). They are scheduled to receive their first puppy vaccines on Tuesday (Sept. 3rd) when they turn 8 weeks old. Following our vet recommendation they will stay with us until Thursday (Sept. 5th) to not add additional stress immediately after getting their vaccines. When our babies go home they will be vet checked, dewormed, vaccinated and microchipped as well as having a little gift bag with some food and a blanket and toy from our house that smell like home. If you are interested in adopting one of our babies we ask that you please contact us through Kijiji with your phone and we will call you and answer any questions and arrange a time for you to meet the puppies.

Please note the puppies can't go home until Sept. 5th or later but you are welcome to meet them or video call with them to pick your puppy.
