A: depends on the individual, if they are a mostly indoor dog or out playing in the mud etc. Try not to over wash... just like with humans it could cause dry skin. Generally better to wash max 1 or 2 times a week if they need it. Won't need baths that often if living clean indoors. AHTs are not oily or smelly like hairless sphinx cats as some cat owners have told me about. Q: Sunscreen? A: like with people, use common sense. Don't go for a 3 hour walk in the winter without clothing, or 3 hours at noon on the beach in the direct summer sun with no protection. If it is super sunny, high UV, that's different then shorter periods outside with clothes on. I prefer to use clothing than relying on sunscreen, as for my lifestyle they are usually in the shade and not out for too long at high noon. If you do feel the need for sunscreen, prefer to use human mineral sunscreen if needed.
