Things you should know about buying or adopting a pet

While pet sellers can be reputable individuals or breeders who treat their animals well, the ease of selling pets over the Internet also makes it attractive to careless, irresponsible breeders and scammers. To protect yourself, you must be careful and believe only what you see and not what you are told. It is highly recommended to arrange for an inspection of the home where the pets are bred. This allows you to check that the mother and other animals are living in suitable conditions, being well cared for, and are in good health.

Only ONE of five puppies left-- a gorgeous little male tricolour rough coat, ready to go to his new home. He is friendly, confident and well adjusted, having passed a professional temperament assessment and started puppy class. He can be recorded with the Jack Russell Terrier Club of Canada and/or America (JRTCC/JRTCA) after his neuter. He will be as happy as a family pet as playing dog sports. This puppy has a great off switch as well as drive, and will be low shedding but not hypoallergenic.

The first three pictures shows the male, followed by pictures of the parents. Both parents are health tested (vision, hearing, DNA) with excellent pedigrees, amazing temperaments and multiple titles in terrier sports, dock diving and with Rats! Canada. The pup is not at risk if any of the 200+ inherited diseases tested by Embarkvet (reports available upon request). All our dogs live in the house with us as our pets, and the puppies have been socialized with adults and children. References available from families with our puppies. Serious inquiries welcome from active individuals and families with experience with terriers -- and the ability to provide these puppies with exercise and training. No children under the age of seven. No small prey animals as pets, but cats are fine. These pups will excel as family pets, hiking buddies, and performance dogs.

There is a contract required that has a spay/neuter clause. We require a reference from your vet to assure you have a history of providing excellent care to your pets. We provide lifetime support and advice. If the dog does not work out for any reason at any point in its life, it must come back to us for rehoming, as we want to avoid our puppies being a burden on the rescue/shelter system. Health guarantee outlined in contract.

The pups are fully vaccinated(DHPP (2) , Rabies Lyme(2)), are microchipped, and have been dewormed several times.

Though they cost a little more, acquiring a puppy from health tested parents will save you money and heartbreak later, and live long and happy lives.
