With a heavy heart and lifestyle changes, the owner is unable to take care of dog that once accompanied her throughout her clincal practice and is looking to rehome this energetic, eager to please and always ready to love, labradoodle. He is 6-7 years old and looking for a loving home, from someone preferable that has experience with training and handling service animals and dogs.

His temperment is eager to please, happy, loving , interested in the world and when we use the word "energetic" we mean, always ready. He seems to be always ready for a command, to play (during his playtime) and always ready to please. He has built a relationship to the owner through his training and loves that bonding time of running through his command, "relax", place and "stay" (lying down and not engaging with the movement of the house while having dinner/meals, watching tv, transitions in the home, when guests come. tot he door or leave).

He is great. on leash, with owner and the relationship they have, he is walked leashless most times, but this may be the bond they have since 8 weeks old. He is. housed with another dog and gets along with cats and dogs. They type of. therapy dog he as used for was for grounding the space, and being a presence of calm/love. He. worked in the clinical setting prior to the pandemic for those being treated.for anxiety and ptsd. After the pandemic the training changed due to being out of the. office environment and was used to shadow the owners work only in community. He became to excitable in the transition which demanded more time from owner to get him in a training mode ( being calm before entering establishments, community events, etc.,) therefore his work was resigned at the time and he was more the home dog, so to speak.

He loves being trained, "stay", "sit", "down stay", etc., and engaged with with his person and LOVES fetch!
