At Prestine Blue Terriers, we raise exceptional animals in a loving and caring environment. Dedicated to following a responsible breeding program, our focus is on keeping our animals healthy and happy for when they find their new homes. There's no inbreeding or line-breeding in my program for a more stronger intelligent pup for you to work with. The Amazing Rat Terrier; They are an excellent agility animal, who's also intelligent enough to cover quite a bit of other ground like tracking, retrieving various objects (keys, nuts, bolts, wallets, money, etc) and ratting or coursing with a lure. Some have been chosen for the St John Ambulance Therapy Dog Programs and have successfully completed it. Other pups go on to be working the Special Needs Training Service dogs for disabilities such as Epilepsy, PTSD, Diabetes or Mobility Limitations. And, included in their many talents, there's a few that go on to work photo-shoots for dog commercials (still-photography) dressing up in costumes. Both males and females are a very loving and dedicated/loyal dog to their owners. Some of them try to mimic human conversational words and it's very interesting/humorous to listen to when they decide to do that. So, with their prey drive it doesn't mean that they'll kill cats or other house pets, some of them learn to work rats/mice outside naturally, and others need training for it. There are some that would prefer to just be your best friend instead and won't bother chasing anything. It is an individual trait for each of the pups. Please Note; Puppies advertised for one price without papers, and a higher price for them to come with a certificate of registration, is illegal. In Canada, Canadian law dictates that if a dog is sold as a purebred, registration papers must be provided, and the breeder must provide them at no additional cost. It is illegal to sell a purebred dog without papers, even if a client requests it. So, I have other options available for customers to look over; and includes almost purebred at 96% Rat Terrier, but with your choice for CKC Companion Registration or without registration- simply pet prices, a category for the little miss Keira. She's definately going to grow around 10-12 inches (not very big - Toy size). She's available to the right home for $1150, as well. She super smart, brave and very curious about the world around her. I was going to keep her, but, I have enough dogs with me. Some lucky home will be happy to have any of these little gaffers. All our animals are stunning in their own ways, and our gorgeous girls are no exception. With a variety of colors in the pups and beautiful traits, we are sure to have the animal with the perfect temperament and personality to fit your lifestyle! All the adults/parents posted here are Embark DNA tested and guaranteed Health Cleared. I have 3 girls and 1 boy available. 3 pups are growing quit larger then the rest of the puppies. They'll be a great candidate for ratting prospects, competition, or very handy assistant dogs with the right training.
