Our goldens have such sweet personalities; all of them love to snuggle, and to cuddle in to be petted. Since we keep a small number of dogs who we consider members of our family, our dogs and puppies are exceptionally well-socialized, loved, and cared for. On our large country property there is lots of room for our dogs to exercise and play. They receive loads of attention and affection every day, careful grooming, exercise, and dental and veterinary care.
Our family members gently handle puppies and start teaching them not to bite or jump up. We expose them to a variety of noises and surfaces to desensitize them to everyday life. We take extra care to get your puppy ready to adjust to life at home with you. At six weeks we start crate training the puppies so they are used to sleeping in the crate and they get to practice "holding it in". Our puppies go for regular walks on the leash many times a day so when you take your puppy home she will be used to wearing a collar and going outside to pee and poop. On go home day, I play with your puppy right before he goes home so he will hopefully sleep for the car ride home and be ready to wake up and interact with you when you get home. I want your puppy's transition home to go as smoothly as possible!
Our puppies are purebred CKC (Canadian Kennel Club) registered, and have had age-appropriate vaccinations and deworming. They are thoroughly health-checked by a certified vet. They come with breeder support and a 2-year health guarantee. Our parent dogs are from the finest pedigrees, with health verification, wonderful temperaments, and beautiful light to classic mid-golden-coloured coats. Both mom and dad have hips and elbows certified healthy to breed by veterinary x-rays, and their eyes and hearts have been checked against diseases that can be passed on to puppies. We also DNA test against eight genetic diseases that are common in golden retrievers. This gives our puppies the best possible start in life.
All pictures were taken on our country property or by our happy clients of previous litters so you can get an idea of how your puppy will look. I will be happy to answer any questions you have both when you are choosing a puppy and after you take your puppy home, and I am available for full breeder support. We are completely open to show you our facilities and our home where we raise our puppies for adoption, and to show you all paperwork, health records, hip certificates, veterinary and registration certificates, to ease your mind that you are choosing a responsible breeder. We want all our puppies to go to homes where they will receive lots of love and the best care possible, so we appreciate discerning clients.
