The Rat Terrier is an excellent hunting canine, who is adaptable to farm life, city life and much more. These dogs bond quickly and are incredibly intelligent. They were bred to eradicate vermin on the farm which come along with chickens and other livestock. I’ve never had a problem with my Rat Terriers going after any of my livestock, but the rats have sure met their maker. These muscle bound terriers are driven, loving, intelligent, eager to please and minimal shedders (single coat). They are adaptable to life on a boat, paddle board, hiking, farming, camping, mountain biking, running and much more. All my puppies come microchipped, vet checked, vaccinated and with a non-breeding/health guarantee contract. They are exposed to children, goats, many other dogs of all sizes and temperaments, different types of strangers, textures, loud noises and grass to pee on.
