Where to begin when speaking about such an amazing dog. Ellie is turning 4 yrs old this July 15th. She is a extremely loyal girl, that anyone would be lucky to have. She is affectionate, loving, she is just an all around amazing dog. I would never get rid of Ellie if I didn’t have to. My wife is pregnant and with another child on the way and already having two of our own unfortunately we cannot keep Ellie we have a big yard but unfortunately our house is to small. She knows basic obedience and is totally house trained. She is also crate trained and is currently eating twice a day morning and night. She is spayed and will come with all paper work and is fully vaccinated. We also have a chihuahua and she is great with him and knows her size, she isn’t to rough and just lays with him in there bed.
She has a red meat allergy when it comes to food, but she can handle treats and loves bones. Those big smoked ones are her favourite along with beef sticks and bullies treats. She is great with children we have a 6 yr old and since he was 2 he was able to crawl all over her and she wouldn’t do a thing. She isn’t food possessive when it comes to people, and does take time to warm up to strangers. She won’t let random people come close to the house without warning you. She doesn’t bark for no reason.
Ellis has never been around cats before.
She loves walks, playing fetch is her favourite and chasing balls, sticks. Wouldn’t recommend walking her off leash till she builds a bond with you as she loves to still chase squirrels and chipmunks and has caught some rabbits before.
Ellie used to pull a lot on the leash while walking and she has gotten a lot better with myself not doing that anymore. I don’t use a leash now because she listens to me.
She is great with other dogs and is social and friendly. She goes to dog day care at the moment 3 days a week. She isn’t really social with other females that are her size she is a alpha female in a sense. But she gets along with I’d say most other dogs no problem and male dogs for sure just isn’t to sure about ones larger then her. As for small dogs she is great with, we also have a chihuahua who her and him lay together on the bed and she has learned her size compared to him and isn’t overly playful.
Ellie is crate trained and will come with a large crate. She is also able to stay outside the crate without making a mess.
She is great in the car and loves to stick her head outside the window while we drive. She is very loving and affectionate with the kids. She will the odd time grab a kids toy and bring it to us to play with her but for the most part knows just to play with hers.
She’s also been on a boat and Ellie doesn’t really like water or swimming. I give her baths and that’s the extent she has been in the lake a few times only.
She loves to sit beside you and cuddle or be pet, walk in a field or park and be outdoors or as she gets older here relaxing. She still requires a lot of exercise but she has slowed down a lot from when she was younger.
She also will come with her crate, bed, toys and leashes and food.
