Looking for a Co-Owner for My Sweet Boy, Nigel (Chinese Chongqing Dog) I’m looking for the perfect FOREVER home for Nigel, my working male Chinese Chongqing. This is a co-ownership arrangement — Nigel will remain my male in my chinese chongqing program, but he will live as a cherished family pet in your home. Location: You must live in Ottawa or within 1 hour drive of Ottawa. About Nigel: Nigel is a sweet, affectionate boy who adores kids and people. He’s calm, gentle, not a barker, and doesn’t shed. He’s house-trained, crate-trained, and gets along beautifully with dogs and cats — but not with other intact male dogs, so he needs to be the only intact male dog in the home. Will not be a good fit with small animals like rabbits or guinea pigs unless they are kept in a closed off secured cage. What I’m Looking For: • A loving, committed family to welcome Nigel into their home permanently. I will insist on the emphasis of a PERMANENT home as most people take on a dog and return after the initial excitement wears off. • A stable environment with no intact male dogs • A home that will give him plenty of love, exercise, and care What I Will Provide: • I remain responsible for all vet bills while Nigel is part of my breeding program • Once his career is complete, he will be neutered and full ownership will be transferred to you — he stays with your family forever If you’re looking to add an incredibly special, loyal, and loving dog to your life, and you’re in the Ottawa area, please reach out.
