Big Sky Little Australian Shepherds

We are very proud to introduce our litter of pups this year! Big Sky Ranch specializes in raising the very best livestock we can and stewarding the land to the best of our ability. We raise purebred Simmental beef, registered Nigerian Dwarf goats, registered Haflinger horses, and registered/purebred Australian Shepherds. Registered Brown Swiss milk cows are the latest endeavor. Our dogs are an integral part of all this. They help us with our jobs, provide endless hours of enjoyment and companionship, and help raise our four tiny kids and teach them valuable life lessons.

Sky and Gritli have produced six beauties. Three are smaller and three larger. Our dogs are welcome inside and out. Both dam and sire are very well adjusted and friendly to people and animals. Sire is registered and health tested. They are never tied or kenneled. Fed a high quality diet of Acana, Canadian Naturals, and our farm produce.

Sky is three years old, a gorgeous thick blue merle coat, two blue eyes, about 16” high, and 30-35 pounds. He is a Mini Australian Shepherd. Gritli is two years old, slightly lighter red tri coat, amber eyes, approximately 13” high, and 15 pounds. She is a Toy Australian Shepherd and the most tolerant, loving, little companion with very low prey drive or herding instinct. She always asks to be picked up and hugged every morning.

Puppies are raised with our family, indoors and out. They have been exposed to cats, heavy equipment, babies and toddlers, goats, horses, and cows. They’re handled hours every day and being fed Acana Small Breed Puppy softened with milk from our own cow and farm fresh eggs. We want these pups to go to the very best of homes that understand the breed. Prices may seem high, but we are not nearly paid per hour it takes to raise these pups. And by asking market value we take the first step to ensure that the pups are valued and not purchased on a short-term whim. That said, prices are negotiable within reason to the right homes. The goal is a life-long match you’re both happy with.

Please be prepared to tell me a little bit about yourself, your reasons for wanting the pup, and the puppy's future living arrangements (e.g. how many hours alone each day, fenced yard, etc.) I am not picky or hard to please, but as the person responsible for their birth, I want to do the best I can to ensure they are not rehomed a second time after they become attached to you, so please do not be offended! I request that pups be returned to us at any stage of their lives if you can no longer keep them. We will assess them and decide between keeping them or finding another stellar home. This is our sixth year raising this breed of pups and we look forward to many more. Pups are ready to go home starting May 6 after their vaccinations and Vet check.
