Just born!
There are 3 females and 3 males.
** update. Potentially 1 rough coat female, 1 rough coat male. The others appear to be smooth coat at the moment.
-- Mother is a black smooth coat (Petit Brabançon) ~ 14 Pounds / 6.4 KG
-- Father is a black rough coat (Griffon Belge) ~ 11 Pounds / 5 KG
Both mom and dad are Ukrainian Imports, and Puppies will be UKC (United Kennel Club) registered. Puppies are purebred. We are against mix breeding / "designer breeders" or breeding off standard colors.
Both parents have their CHIC numbers through OFA and passed all health testing. And well as full clearance on their genetic health testing through Optimal Selection. All of which can be provide upon request!
Puppies could be either black smooth (no beard, "like a Pug") or black rough coat (with a beard, "like a Schnauzer"). But we won't be able to tell coat type until about early June.
We will not be taking any deposits until coat type is known, and personalities start to come out more so we can best pair each puppy to the perfect home for them. But please contact us if you are interested in getting on our unofficial waiting list for this litter.
We send all of our puppies home with;
- 2 sets of puppy vaccines (they will still need a 3rd before going in public!)
- Dewormed
- Microchipped
- UKC Registration Papers
- 1 Month Free Pet Insurance through Trupanion
- 1 Year Congenital Health Guarantee
- Contract (Strict Spay/Neuter Contact!)
- A puppy pack with food and a bunch of goodies to help them transition into their new homes.
We like to place puppies after their second round of vaccines. This means they should be ready to go to their homes around the end of July / early August. Each litter is different, so this is just a rough time frame.
Puppies will go through Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) which research shows puppies have a greater start on being more adaptive to all situations they will encounter in life. Puppies also learn basic obedience before leaving. Typically, most puppies will have learned Sit, Come, Down, and Spin. Most are also pretty good about potty pad training upon leaving. Most homes who have gotten puppies from us in the past, have said their puppies are about 80% house broken within weeks of being home following our training tips. Again, each litter is different, so we will see as they get older.
This breed is extremely personable little dogs. You get a big personality in a 5-to-15-pound package. I refer to them as super glue dogs instead of velcro dogs because they will want to be stuck to your side 24/7. Griffs are alert, sociable, and easily trained.
First few pictures are from the last litter with the same sire.
