Things you should know about buying or adopting a pet

Dog for Rehoming

Hello! Meet Kovu, a 3 year old neutered male German Shepherd Border Collie. I got him rehomed from a previous owner when he was a few months old. Kovu is very smart, dorky, and loves to be silly. Ever since I got him, he has been enrolled in never ending training, obedience, reactivity, and agility classes. He has completed many obedience classes, 1-to-1 reactivity classes, and up to level 3 agility. He also has experience going to daycare. He is a very capable and loving boy but very anxious, he wears a muzzle whenever we leave the house. Despite all the training we have tried, we need to rehome him because of my medical condition and because we are expecting a baby. It is a heart-breaking decision and we do hope to find an amazing home for him.

Kovu would flourish in a home with a reactive dog experienced handler, and a home with a big backyard or on a farm. Kovu would also do well as a guard dog. He gives the biggest cuddles to people he trusts but it takes time to build the trust. Kovu has no allergies and takes fluoxetine everyday. We will provide all he has - crate, dog bed, medication, food (loves all food and highly food motivated), and toys.
