Things you should know about buying or adopting a pet

While pet sellers can be reputable individuals or breeders who treat their animals well, the ease of selling pets over the Internet also makes it attractive to careless, irresponsible breeders and scammers. To protect yourself, you must be careful and believe only what you see and not what you are told. It is highly recommended to arrange for an inspection of the home where the pets are bred. This allows you to check that the mother and other animals are living in suitable conditions, being well cared for, and are in good health.

Remember that the Kijiji Pets section is NOT intended to facilitate uncontrolled breeding, irresponsible commercial pet trading, trade of dogs or any other animal for the purpose of fighting or stud services. Any ads that are suspected of promoting this kind of activity or reported to us will be removed. Kijiji encourages, where possible, the adoption of pets and encourages all pet owners to have their animals spayed or neutered as well as microchipped.

Sadie & Koa are expected to have a litter of F1b goldendoodles (75% poodle & 25% golden retriever) mid-December. This pair have had litters together before and have been the most popular of my puppies. The pictures are of previous puppies, and the last two pictures are Sadie & Koa.

They will be -hypoallergenic -some abstracts (apricot to red with white markings) -some parti coloured ones (white with apricot/red patches) -25-45 lbs as adults -Spunky, fun, sweet, cuddly, and intelligent

Sadie is a 53 lb F1 goldendoodle that I raised from my sweet, purebred golden retriever Joey, and my CKC registered poodle Abby. Sadie has gorgeous, soft, wavy hair and is sweet natured, loving, and friendly. Koa is a 22 lb AKC registered mini/moyen poodle who is spunky, playful, intelligent and loves a good cuddle as well. His hair is soft, curly, and very low shedding. The two of them have made gorgeous, fun, cuddly, friendly puppies that have gone from Vancouver Island, to Yellowknife to Ontario.

The puppies will be given a thorough health check by the vet and their first vaccination at 8 weeks old, they will be ready for their new homes the next day. They will also be microchipped and dewormed twice. A blanket with the mother's scent to help with the transition to your home, their health records, some of their food and a toy will accompany them. We do early neurological stimulation with them and expose them to different sounds, textures and smells. They are also socialized with children, other adults, and other dogs. All of our adult dogs are DNA tested for the common health issues of their breed therefore we give a two year genetic health guarantee.

The waitlist is open for this litter. $250 deposit to have your name on the waitlist, and additional $250 to commit to a puppy from this litter once they are born, and the final $2000 due at pickup. The total for a puppy is $2500. Picking takes place at 6 weeks of age and in the order the deposits are received. Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to a future litter from the same pair or from another pair. More puppies are planned for the spring from Sophie, Daisy, and Mindy (Sadie’s sister).
