Beautiful Heeler x Catahoula Leopard

Shadow is a sweet, loving dog. She does like to herd other animals but she is not trained to do it properly. It is in her nature to herd. She is an indoor dog. Shadow is up to date with all of her vaccinations and she is spay. She is on Nexgard Spectra which includes heartworm prevention. She has this season left (Oct. 14th),so that will go with her as well. Shadow loves to run around and play. She loves attention. She is very intelligent so she can not be left alone in most vehicles because she opens the doors. Shadow would definitively benefit from an active family. She is great with cats, dogs and children. We have taught our children to respect animals so Shadow hasn't had any bad experiences with children. When we walk her we use a harness. She is not great on a leash. She roams free in our invisible fence yard. She will need a fenced yard. Shadow eats twice a day. The amount depends on brand of food. She is eating Purina One food now, chicken and rice she likes best, and she eats 1 and 1/3 cups twice a day. She is about 51 pounds, medium size. She is a bit on the chunky side at the moment. She needs to be rehomed no fault of her own. It is due to our circumstance. She is loving and loves her attention. She will make a great addition to any dog loving family. We are asking $500 o.b.o. for her adoption because she is spay and up to date on vaccinations and also she is on nexgard spectra which includes heartworm worm prevention.
