Meet Grizzly! He’s a gentle giant looking for his forever home. He’s still a puppy as he’s only a year old and he’s a big sweet baby. We helped someone rescue him from up North and unfortunately due to some situational aggression between him and my dogs it looks like we won’t be able to be his forever home which breaks my heart. He does get a long with my dogs for the most part as long as there isn’t food around and he will sometimes get jealous for attention.
I’m not looking for money for him, I just want to find an amazing safe and loving home for him where he can be spoiled with love and attention and live the rest of his life worry free.
Grizzly loves people and has not shown any aggression towards humans,. He’s so very, very sweet, he loves belly rubs, loves to cuddle, and loves getting pats. He isn’t leash trained and isn’t trained on any commands yet. He is very food motivated but is also very stubborn and at times sneaky lol
He’s a big boy and is continuing to grow, so he does eat a lot. He’s scared of going into the vehicle, he’s not use to that as he was an outdoor dog before and has only been in a vehicle twice. Even though he was an outside dog before joining us, he does like having the option to come inside and be with his humans for cuddles and naps and what not. He spends a lot of his time outside, but he does like to sleep inside too, especially when the weather is crappy (raining, too hot, too cold).

- Birthdate: March 3rd, 2024 (they didn’t know his birthday, so we gave him the above birthday based on the info they had)
- Weight: 101 lbs, but still growing and could grow to be around 140-170lbs
- Neutered: Yes
- Tattooed: Yes
- Microchipped: Yes
- Vaccines: Up to date (due for a lime disease booster shot around May 20th, 2025)
- Lime Disease: Tested negative
- Last Vet Appointment: April 22nd, 2025
- I have his heartworm & tick prevention meds for this season that will go with him.
- House trained: Yes
- Good with kids: Unknown
- Good with cats: Unknown
- Good with dogs: Yes & No. Would need a a supervised introduction. Would need to be fed separately. Would need an experienced dog owner. Gets along with my dogs, but is food aggressive and aggressive towards them sometimes if he’s feeling jealous for attention.
Must Haves For You:
- Large 6’ fenced yard
- Other pets: could be okay with one other dog but would need a supervised introduction for the first meet to see their compatibility and he should be fed separately.
- Will likely chase after small animals.
- Must be willing to provide references.

- Must be willing to allow for a home inspection (virtual is sufficient).
